2017 RTF Grant Recipient
Congratulations to Alysha Walter, PhD candidate, and Marieke Van Puymroeck from Clemson University for being selected as this year's grant recipient. The aim of the study is to determine the physical and psychological benefits of yoga on community dwelling informal caregivers and their care recipients with Alzheimer's Disease.  We look forward to seeing the results of this research!


2016 Grant Recipients

Congratulations to Kaylee McGuire, CTRS, CCLS and Caitlin Foelsch, CTRS from Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ on winning the 2016 Recreational Therapy Foundation Grant! The purpose of the grant is to support the collection of data regarding water safety behavior during an adaptive aquatics program in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We look forward to seeing the results of this research!

2015 RTF Grant Recipient
Congratulations to the 2015 Recreational Therapy Grant recipient, Aurora Crew! Aurora applied for a grant to "Examine the Impact of Cognitive Stimulation Sessions Using Technology Based Games, on Cognitive Functioning in Older Adults with Cognitive Decline"  We are very excited to see what Aurora's research produces.
